Using KIT
Searching KIT
You can search the KIT database against as few as one or as many terms as you like. With each term you specify, you narrow the search. For instance, searching for "New England" and "Biotechnology" will return only biotech companies in the New England region (please see "regional definitions").
Browsing KIT - Company Tearsheets
Each company tearsheet is divided into three tabs: Company Description, Investments, and Graphical Analysis. You can move between each tab by clicking on it at the top of the tearsheet.
Company Description
Here you will find such information as the company location and main executive, or point of contact. You will also receive a breakdown of the investments and investors. By clicking on an investor's name, you will be taken to a brief overview page of that investment firm.
Investments
Here you will find a full breakdown of the company's investment history. All known deal terms used in those investments, as well as post-money valuations from those investments, are disclosed. Please note that we may not have deal terms for every investment in the company (see "KIT statistics").
Graphical Analysis
The charts viewed on this tab compare each of the investments in the company (for which we know deal terms) to certain regional and industy benchmarks. For more information about these benchmarks, see "Cost of Capital benchmark".
KIT Pricing
KIT access is sold at two levels: a 1-month subscription for $325.00 and a 12-month at $2,495.00. Both levels include full access to the entire database for the time limit described. If you have special needs, please call 646-290-9254.
